About Schmoz Films

— ABOUT SCHMOZ FILMS

THE REGIONAL FILM AUTHORITY AND ANALOGUE PHOTOGRAPHY HUB.

Schmoz Films is a Davao-based film retailer serving film shooters across Davao and Mindanao. We are building the most trusted place to discover film, find it locally, and feel part of the scene.

COMMUNITY

CULTURE

Film rolls are our product, but Schmoz is ultimately about access: distinctive, dependable film stocks made locally available, supported by sample photographs, practical education, and clear recommendations.

We bring photographers together through photowalks, exhibitions, collaborations, pop-ups, contests, awards, and activities that celebrate work from our region.

Schmoz is more than a film retailer. The orange TheFilmFlag represents the resurgence of film and a movement to keep analogue photography alive. Express this through photographs, film samples, educational content, photographer features, and community stories.

We are not just selling films. We are building the most trusted place in the City, the immediate Davao region, and the island of Mindanao, where people can discover film, have local access to quality film stocks, and take part in the art movement of keeping film alive. That is a tall task we cannot possibly do without an incredible village of amazing people, artists, and brands behind us. Thus, we are very excited to introduce our trusted partners soon－ from top film brands, to our most trusted local film lab, to our most talented artists and photographer friends. Stay tuned for that!
